This specification covers a premium diesel fuel for uses in vehicles that will travel public roads and any other vehicles where a premium low sulfur fuel is desired. Premium diesel fuel has enhanced cetane, lubricity, and detergency relative to standard number 2 diesel fuel. It is not to be used for the filling of new vehicles at the factory.
