1 Scope

1.1 Material Description. This specification covers round welded steel tubing produced from low carbon steel in straight lengths to be used in bending and hydroforming operations. The steel used to make tubing to this specification may be uncoated, hot-dip coated per GM6185M, or electrogalvanized per GM6201M.This material shall exhibit properties related to strength, formability, weldability, and paintability.
