1 SCOPE.

This specification covers the performance requirements for both rigid and flexible decorative ornamentation with urethane on the top apparent surface. The sttbstratc material may be mtal or plastic, no& minated construction. (Parts made of laminated construction are covered by performance specification GM3620M.) The substrate may be painted, integrally colored or otherwise decorated to match styling requirements. The urethane coating may be clear, piGMcnted, transparent, translucent or opaque. The urethane may be a thin fihn obtained by painting, roller coating, etc., or a thick coating (lens) obta& d by pouring. The periphery of a poured urethane lens may be rounded (formed by the meniscus of urethane poured onto the individual part) or sharp (formed by die cutting parts from a large, flat sheet that had urethane poured onto it).
