1 SCOPE.
1.1 This electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) specification is designed to allow component testing at the bench-top level. Successfully passing the component tests contained in this document will greatly improve the chances of passing the fullvehicle tests. Where a component passes the component level tests but does not comply with the vehicle-level test requirements, the component supplier will be expected to cooperate with GM in determining a root cause and resolution for the deviation.
