1 SCOPE

1.1 This component-level test procedure evaluates automotive electrical and electronic components intended for vehicle use for conducted emissions of transients generated by a device under test (DUT) and imposed back upon the battery (B+) or switched ignition feeds of the DUT. A device which is considered a potential source of conducted interference should be tested according to this procedure.
