1 SCOPE.
1.1 This component-level test procedure evaluates the immunity of automotive electronic and electrical components intended for vehicle use to potential interference from conducted sinusoidal bursts along battery feed (B+) or switched ignition inputs. The sinusoidal bursts are simulations of waveforms, such as glow discharge, observed during switching of automotive electrical devices. By simultaneously providing controlled coupling between the device under test¿s (DUT) input/output (I/O) lines and its power lines, it also provides a test of the immunity of the DUT¿s I/O lines.
