This specification describes a premium, climatized, Grade Low Sulfur No. 2-D diesel fuel for use as factory fill. Climatized fuel means that the fuel is properly blended for seasonal temperature variations. Grade Low Sulfur No. 1-D diesel is not to be used for factory fill.

This diesel fuel shall be clean, bright and free from contamination with pour and cloud points adequate for production processing and engine operation.

The fuel may also contain other types of additives such as; centane improver, metal deactivator, antioxidant, dehazer, rust inhibitor, antistatic additive, pour depressant, flow improver, dye, dispersant, and additives to reduce particulate emissions. Specific type and quantity of these other types of additives shall be as agreed upon by purchaser and seller.
