1 SCOPE.
This standard describes developmental tests for switches and relays used in low level (1 to 12 v; 0 to .25 ampere) and dry circuit (volts < 20 millivolt) systems. These tests shall not be used for sample submission or validation tests for the reasons outlined in Table 1. The tests listed herein are to be performed during new product development or may be used to evaluate one design proposal against another.
