This procedure describes a method to quantity the impact fusion of powder paint materials and evaluate the impact fusion characteristics.

Standard components are to be used with various materials to determine the impact characteristics of these powder materials. This method also allows for a standard material to be used with various components to evaluate and compare the impact characteristics of the components. This occurs by varying only one equipment component per test.
