1 SCOPE.
This procedure is established to standardize the analysis and reporting of the mass of the emissions from paint and sealer materials during bake in an oven as a function of temperature and number of bakes. This procedure specifically addresses the smoke-causing part of the oven emissions, which includes solids and semi-volatile constituents. Emissions of volatile compounds are not intended to be completely quantified by this procedure.
