1 Scope
This test method describes the procedure for measuring the Compression Load Deflection (CLD) response of glass and body sealing weatherstrips made from EPDM rubber and thermoplastic elastomers (TPE`s). CLD measurements may be required in one or more directions as specified on the Engineering Drawing.
All materials supplied to this specification must comply with the requirements of GMW3059, Restricted and Reportable Substances for Parts.
These test methods are based on SI units per IEEE/ASTM SI 10-1997.
