1 Scope This test procedure is used to determine whether any compounding ingredient, which may exude from a weatherstrip, will act as an adhesive and seal the windows or hatch lids. This test is also used to evaluate wrinkle resis-tance of weatherstrips. Note: Nothing in this test method supersedes applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained.
