1 SCOPE.
This procedure is to be used to measure the energy and loads incurred on a sample during an impact event at a specified velocity and temperature. A class designation shall be indicated along with the specification number (i. e., GM9904P Class A) to identify the test velocity and temperature. For temperatures or velocities which are not standard a Z suffix shall be used for the class and the temperature and velocity shall be identified after specification call-out, i. e., GM9904P Class Z
