1 Scope This test is designated to evaluate the durability of weatherstrip coatings including flocking, spray applied coatings, and co-extruded low friction materials and geometric effectiveness of a given profile on glass run sections and areas where constant wear is likely to occur on the vehicle. Note: Nothing in this test method supersedes applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained. Note: In the event of a conflict between the English and domestic language, the English language shall take precedence.
