This specification covers fibrous recyclable sound absorbing materials composed of polyester fibers. Applications include die-cut parts; die-cut parts attached to substrates and thermally molded three-dimensional shaped parts.

Material Description. The materials approved to this specification are composed of 100% PET polyester fibers. These polypester fibers are intended for interior applications but may also be used underhood if temperatures do not exceed 135°C.
