The purpose of this test method is to determine the weld seam quality on welded mechanical tubing for the hydroforming process. This test method applies to steel and aluminum welded mechanical tubing for hydroforming processes, as specified in GM6442M and GMN10032.

Note: Nothing in this test method supersedes applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained.
