This specification covers the sunscreen lotion resistance requirements for an interior, waterborne or solvent borne, 1 or 2 component coating system for use over chrome plated parts. Coating systems that pass the requirements of this specification must first pass the requirements of GMN10083.

Paint Feel. Paint systems approved to this specification shall be required to carry a type suffix to indicate the type of feel that it has to the human skin. The suffix system shall be as follows:

Type A Soft touch

Type B Fabric Feel

Type C Hard Touch
