1 Scope

This specification shall encompass all head and body side impact energy absorbing countermeasures, including knee bolsters. GMN8351 will supercede and replace all impact countermeasures for saleable vehicles at the start of model year 2006. GM216M will become obsolete at the start of model year 2006.
