1 Scope
This procedure is intended to serve as a general guideline for label installation. This standard describes the procedure for applying a label to a painted metal, glass, plastic, cloth, or other material surface. The label can be either a pressure sensitive adhesive attached label, or a heat transfer label. An in-process tape adhesion test for heat transfer labels is also mentioned.
