1 Scope

This specification covers the properties of a black, UV and heat stabilized, thermoplastic vulcanizate containing fully cured EPDM elastomer particles dispersed in a continuous polypropylene matrix. The material can be processed by extrusion, injec tion or blow molding.

1.1 Typical Application. Typical applications in clude the following: mats, gaskets, seals and parts where softness and conformity are needed. Con tinuous operating temperature range: 40 to 135 °C.

1.2 Remarks. Not recommended where exposure to fuel or oil for prolonged periods are anticipated.
