This specification covers the properties of a recycled heat stabilized nylon 66 black molding compound.
PAINTABILITY. Approved paint systems that can be used on this material are listed in the GM Approved Paint on Parts Systems (GM APOPS) database.
RECYCLED MATERIALS. Materials under this specification shall have a minimum of 25% recycled content by weight, as defined in GM502M, Post-consumer and/or post-industrial materials apply.
Virgin material, GMP.PA66.018, may be substituted for this recycled material provided parts made from virgin material have been approved by the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
