This specification covers the properties of a 40% continuous strand glass fiber reinforced polypropylene homopolymer based compression molding laminate.
LIMITATIONS. Parts made of this material arc subject to the following limitations.
Maximum continuous use temperature shall not exceed 127°C.
Maximum short term use, 30 min., shall not exceed 149°C.
Painting of this material is not recommended for Class "A" surface finish due to fiber pattern prominence and/or surface porosity. Textured surfaces are generally acceptable as painted substrates for interior applications with proper pretreatment.
