1. SCOPE

This specification covers the requirements for a zinc rich, air dry primer. Material shall be based on pure , finely subdivided zinc dust particles , dispersed in a synthetic resin with the purpose to obtain high corrosion resistant coating. This material is intended to be applied over tin plated and terne plate panels such as fuel tank panels.
