Purpose.
This test procedure evaluates the global seat system free-play when loads are applied in the fore/aft and lateral direction on the seat back of the seat.
Applicability.
This test shall be applied to all General Motors vehicles with free-standing fixed, folding or removable seat systems mounted on adjusters and/or risers.
