Purpose. The object of this test is to determine the press-through force of trim materials (e.g., compressed fibrous materials) when subjected to specific compressive stress.

Applicability. Trim materials (e.g., compressed fibrous materials) subjected to specific compressive stress.

Remarks. The press-through force is the maximum compressive force measured during the test, before the material is pressed through.
