Purpose. The purpose of this test is to evaluate the sealing capability of engine coolant hose connections and evaluate individual components of the hose connections by subjecting radiator and heater hoses and their attachments to a thermal aging process and a pressure and motion/vibration cycle.

Foreword. Not applicable.

Applicability. This test is applicable to all vehicles and trucks utilizing water cooled internal combustion engines.
