Material Description.

Elastic, two component system for the manufacturing of open cell, half rigid polyurethane (PUR) foam.

Description of system.

• A-Component: Polyol-component ready for processing, in which the ageing- and hydrolysis stabilizor is totally dissolved, with amine free activators and foaming agent.

• B-Component: Diphenylmethandiisocyanate (MDI) and higher condensed isocyanates.

Typical Applications.

For back foaming of deep-drawn foils, e.g., instrument panel.

Type 1.

This type has a defined density of 125 ± 15 kg/m³.

Type 2.

For this type the density is specified per approved material on the engineering drawing/in the math data. The density shall not deviate more than ± 5% from the originally approved material.

Remarks.

Some sections reference both, GMW test method and local test methods, as soon as the GMW is available, it supersedes the local test methods.
