Purpose.

A Design Release Engineer (DRE) has the option to specify proper cure on; the drawing, Statement of Requirements (SOR) or Component Technical Specification (CTS), using Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer (DMA)/Dynamic Mechanical Thermal Analyzer (DMTA), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) or solvent extraction techniques, to establish a maximum Relative Cure Index (RCI) T2 (1) value for designated parts. This is recommended for; critical internal parts, compliance to motor vehicle safety standards, or "high cost to repair" situations
