This standard establishes the minimum steady state part monitoring requirements to ensure that production manufacturing processes are producing components within Engineering specifications.

Note: Nothing in this standard supercedes requirements specified by Product Engineering in the Component/Assembly drawings or Supplier Quality in the Manufacturing Control Plan.

Note: Specific requirements will apply to Tier 1 Instrument Panel (IP) Trim suppliers and/or Value Added Assemblers (VAA). These will be indicated as Tier 1 Suppliers = "T1", and Cockpit Module Assemblers = "VAA". If subassembly is occurring in a T1 location, all apply. If manufacturing and assembly occur in one location, all apply.
