Purpose.
This specification leads testing of the Physical Layer (PL) of Controller Area Network (CAN) Graphic Interface (CGI) Touch Screen Serial Interface (TSI), i.e., CGI/TSI, Bus devices.
Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) testing is not described in this document, except crank pulse and Electro Static Discharge (ESD).
The measurement results shall be documented in the separate available CG3704 Global A CGI/TSI Physical Layer Test Result Template, all plots included. The supplier shall work with the GM Design Responsible Engineer to comprehend this requirement.
