Material Description. This specification describes material types of unfilled acrylonitrile butadiene styrene and polyamide blends which are used in injection components. Code letters, in addition to GMW3013 guidelines, which apply to this specification, are listed below.

Paintability. Approved paint systems that can be used on this material are listed in the General Motors Approved Paint on Parts Systems (GM APOPS) database.

Types. The classification into groups is according to the different properties as described in Tables1, 2, and 3.

Symbols. The material abbreviation according to ISO 11469 is greater than ABS+P6 less than, greater than ABS+PA6+GF8 less than, greater than ABS+PA6+GF15 less than, greater than ABS+PA6+GF20 less than.

Typical Applications. Typical applications include interior trim.
