Purpose. To determine the potential for the door glass to be scratched as a result of dirt accumulation on the glass and in the belt seals during cycle testing of power or manual window systems.
Applicability. This procedure applies to all passenger cars and light duty trucks having conventional vertical dropping power or manual window systems.
