Material Description. This specification covers the properties of a black, exterior weatherable and elastomeric, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), molding compound. These materials are generally processed by extrusion molding processes, but for some simple applications they may be injected, e.g., glass lace molded corners. Materials are delineated by "Type" indicating indention hardness and "Class", indicating compression set and identified in Appendix A, Table A1 and Table A2.
