Purpose. This document defines the mechanical, electrical, and environmental performance requirements, test conditions, and procedures for sunroof systems used for functional and durability tests. 

Applicability. All sunroof systems as defined in the Vehicle Technical Specifications (VTS). 

Remarks. This standard tests the performance requirements of a sunroof system. Electrical function and vehicle communication interface requirements are tested by other Electrical Function procedures.
