Purpose. This procedure shall be used to determine the amount of liquid absorbed by a fabric in a soak situation.
Foreword. Not applicable.
Applicability.
This procedure is applicable to fabrics used on seats equipped with Infant Only Suppression (IOS) and other suppression systems sensitive to moisture/liquid on the surface of the seat.
This procedure is applicable to fabrics without a foam or nonwoven backing. If laminated with foam or backing, remove before testing.
