Material Description. This specification covers the properties of a polyester mid density Sheet Molding Compound (SMC), reinforced with 30% glass fibers, all are randomly oriented and 25 mm in length. The cured material shall have a density of 1.49 to 1.61 g/cm3 maximum.
Bondability. The material must meet the bondability requirements of GMW15921.
