Purpose. This document is intended to test Anti-Pinch protection performance requirements of a sunroof system. This procedure contains the instructions for testing the Anti-Pinch protection, static and dynamic, and False Reversing of the sunroof in accordance with the different legal and GM specifications defined in the SSTS requirements. 

Applicability. This procedure applies to all passenger cars and light duty trucks equipped with a sunroof with an automatic electrical drive and electronically controlled closing force limiter. Deviations from the requirements of the test procedures shall have been agreed upon by the GSSLT. Such requirements shall be specified on component drawings, test certificates, reports, etc
