Purpose. This specification stipulates the requirements, the general test conditions and the test methods for operational, material tests, and the durability test for high pressure pumps for headlamp washer systems, referred to as the pump. In addition to the requirements of this specification, the pump shall fulfill the lawful requirements of the countries in which it is used when assembled to a high pressure headlamp washer system.
