Purpose. This standard defines the testing methodology and requirements for validating front and rear wiper blades to GM requirements. Its purpose is to establish a set of common requirements for wiper blades that are used on GM vehicles.

Applicability. This document is applicable for all car, Multipurpose Passenger Vehicle (MPV), and truck models produced by GM.

Remarks. This document is the GM Worldwide Wiper Blade Testing Standard. This is a living document and any suggestions or revisions will be reviewed and/or updated annually by the Windshield Wiper Global Subsystem Leadership Team (GSSLT).
