Purpose.

This standard stipulates the requirements, test conditions and test procedures for function, material and durability testing of nozzle jets, as well as nozzle jets with telescopic drives, used in vehicles with high pressure headlamp washer systems (referred to as nozzles or drives).

Applicability.

In addition to the requirements of this standard, the nozzles, if applicable with drives, shall also fulfill the legal requirements of the countries in which they are operated, in conjunction with a high pressure headlamp washer system.
