To determine if Permissible Compression Force F_{k perm} of the tie rod assembly is sufficient for the intended application.

To determine/measure Maximum Buckling Force F_{k max}.

Applicability. This Test Procedure applies to all vehicles with tie-rod assemblies, which do have ball joints on both ends.
