Material Description. This specification describes glass fiber reinforced, heat stabilized, non-conductive polyamide 66 (nylon 66) which is used in injected form. This material is used for electrical components. Copper heat stabilizers are not allowed in this resin.

Symbols. The material abbreviations according to ISO 11469 are shown in Table 1.

Applicability. Electrical components.

Remarks. The classification into groups is according to the different ranges of glass fiber content. Additional glass ranges will be added as they become necessary.
