Purpose. This standard establishes the common technical requirements for the folder/wallet/pouch used to hold literature documents (example: owner’s manuals) for GM vehicles sold worldwide. The common functions, performance, design constraints, reliability, and validation required of the subsystem are defined in this document. This specification becomes Statement of Requirements (SOR) Appendix C1 to a SOR for the literature subsystem.

Applicability. Folder/Wallet/Pouch for owner information literature.

Remarks. The primary purpose is to provide a convenient, attractive folder/wallet/pouch to “hold” customer literature.
