Purpose. This procedure describes the method to be used in order to test any molding encapsulated, bonded or attached to a stationary glass panel.

Foreword. This is a component/subsystem level test. This procedure subjectively evaluates the retention of moldings to stationary glass.

Applicability. This procedure applies to all passenger cars, light duty trucks, and medium duty trucks that have a molding encapsulated to a stationary glass panel.
