This specification describes low emission, heat stabilized polyoxymethylene (acetal) copolymer which is used in injected form for molded interior components.

Applicability.

Typical applications include parts that do not require Ultraviolet (UV) light stability and are located within the refreshable air space of the vehicle interior.

Remarks.

The following types apply to this specification:

• C2 - medium low melt flow

• C4 - high melt flow
