Material Description.
This specification describes a black hot melt wax which provides a protective coating on vehicle frames and chassis components. Two (2) wax types are described, a standard wax (GMW17220) and a low temperature wax (GMW17220 LT). All wax shall be standard wax, GMW17220, unless specifically noted on the contract, drawing or purchase order.
