Purpose/Material Description.

The SI Top Engine Cleaner package candidates shall remove deposits from all SI engines including, but not limited to, intake valve carbon deposits, fuel injector deposits, and combustion chamber deposits. The cleaner may not contain organo-metallic additives, nor methanol.

Applicability.

The Spark Ignition Top Engine Cleaner specification is intended for Port Fuel Injected (PFI) and Spark Ignition Direct Injection (SIDI) engine applications in all GM sales markets.

Remarks.

Carbon Clean-up Performance.

The package will remove > 70% of carbon Intake Valve Deposit weight relative to a dirty reference fuel test with a single application.
