Purpose/Material Description.

This specification defines silicone grease with high dielectric strength. See Table 1.

Applicability.

This grease is designed primarily for automotive spark plug boots and electrical connectors. The grease may also be used as a lubricant for cable connectors, battery terminals, rubber door seals, and plastic O-rings.

Remarks.

This specification describes requirements for grease used by the Customer Care and Aftersales Organization having United States (US) Part Number 19260901 (19260902 in Canada). This grease is not compatible with components made of silicone rubber.
