Purpose.

To provide the minimum requirements that shall be incorporated into the manufacturing process for Steel Forgings. This Process Specific Statement of Requirements (SOR) is in addition to and not intended to replace any requirements as outlined in “GM 1927 03 Supplier Quality Statement Of Requirements" from GM Supply Power. See 2.3.

Note: The required tasks in this document are based on experience, best practices, and lessons learned to improve part quality.
