Purpose/Material Description.

This specification establishes the functions, performance, reliability, and validation required for Oleylamine as additive which is a component of the Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) The chemical additive is homogeneously dissolved and mixed into selected dispersion solution. The chemical additive is in the form of liquid or semisolid (temperature and purity dependent). The color of the chemical additive is colorless to yellow. The clarity of the chemical additive is clear to hazy. The Chemical Abstracts Services (CAS) number is 112-90-3.

Oleylamine is used as a manufacturing aid of the MEA. It is used for promoting homogeneity of dispersion solution, improving rheology of dispersion solution for coating/casting application process, and improving characteristics of coating/casting layer drying.
